U.S. Army trains for D-Day.

Genuine US Navy film taken in South Devon (UK) showing US soldiers training for the D-Day landings, under live fire  as they sprint up Blackpool beach, chosen for its resemblance to Utah beach. Later they train on handling landing craft on the river Dart,load vehicles and finally are shown marching through the town of Dartmouth to board their landing craft ready to set off the for Normandy beaches on 6 6 1944.
Bonus material now includes a short film covering the Service of Remembrance aboard MV Fairmile for those lost during Exercise Tiger on the fateful night of April 27/28 April 1944.
