The Museum is in the 17th Century Butterwalk in the centre of town overlooking the Boatfloat

Opening Hours

11 am to 3 pm – 6 days a week (closed on Fridays)

Adults £2.50 Concessions £2.00    Children 5-16  50p

Following Government Guidelines Face Masks must be worn at all times (12 and over). Social distancing and the Covid App can be used or contact details given to the Stewards.

A Traffic Light system will be operating to control the number of people in the Museum at any one time.

Car Parking

Except in the winter season, parking can be difficult in the town and the Park and Ride operating from the top of town off the A3122 to Totnes is recommended.

Disabled Access

We very much regret, due to the nature of the building, that we are unable to offer wheelchair access, other than to the narrow entrance lobby at street level, which has some artefacts on display. A video of the Museum is available for viewing at the nearby Flavel Centre, which has ramp access.
